Program fellows will be required to take the course Law and Public Service within the spring of their first year of law school. This course will present fellows a broad overview of varied public interest careers and paths. (Students admitted to the program in their second 12 months of law faculty may take the Law and Public Service course in the spring of their second 12 months.) Fellows can also opt to, however are not required to, take a course on advocacy abilities for public curiosity legal professionals throughout their second or third 12 months of law college. In addition, fellows are required to take a 3rd-year capstone seminar specializing in modern issues in public service.
